The Great Merseyside Derby postmortem

What can I say.......
This match basically typifies the whole season for Liverpool.
They were brilliant in the first half but were unable to kill it off.
In the 2nd half, they were rather awful.
Luckily, Everton was not able to score.
It was also fortunate that Tim Cahill was injured as he has a knack for scoring against us.
Well a win is a win and we now have a cushion of 5 points over them.
Next task...Arsenal. Bring it on!

The Great Merseyside Derby

Liverpool Vs Everton (Anfield)

We really need to win this to keep a firm hold on 4th spot.
We will be entering a very difficult and busy run-in playing Arsenal 3 times in the EPL and Champions League Quarter Final.
If we win this, we will take a comfortable 5 points lead over Everton.
As long as Gerrard and Torres play to their max, I don't see us losing.
The last post I might have jinxed it so this time round......
I am just keeping my fingers and toes cross.

Cars Movie Figures

Love the movie "'Cars" and I always wanted to collect die cast cars. The only reason why I did not start is because I wanted to have a theme to my toy collection. I try to confine my collection to movie related toys. (But recently I started to collect GI Joe and Robots...:P)

So when Mattel started to make die cast cars from the movie "Cars". I had no reasons not to buy them.

A few new characters are popping out in stores right now. I got mine from Toys R Us Vivo

(L to R) Dinoco Helicopter, Bruiser Bukowski and Yeti

Iron Man Movie Figures

Finally gotten my Iron Man figures from Toys R Us Paragon. I have also seen them at Taka, Toys R Us Vivo and Carrefour.

To my limited knowledge, Iron Monger is currently short packed. I guess he will continue to be the toughest to get because he is the only baddie in the series and we know everyone loves to have a baddie in their collection.

Mark 01 & 02 look limited too. Mark 03 and Iron Man prototype seem to be filling the pegs now.

I managed to get Iron Monger, Mark 01 and 02. I will eventually get Mark 03 due to it being the main amour for the movie. However I will take the risk and wait till I get it at a lower price at yahoo auction (hopefully)

Iron Monger

I love the Iron Monger simply because it's huge and of course it being the only villain in the series. However the issue I have with this is that it looks too plastic. He just does not look metal

Iron Man Mark 01

I don't know why but I just love the shape (boxy) of this figure. It reminds me of the good old days where I use to make robots out of boxes and stuff.
I like the paint here with the addition of rust on the chest, arms and legs.

Iron Man Mark 02

When I bought this I really like the colour plus the yellow detail on it's knees and hip. However when I got home and looked at the movie's picture. I realised that the colour is not movie accurate. He is suppose to be metallic! He would have looked so cool if he was movie accurate.

Overall, these figures look good and I was happy with them. I am also happy that they are in the 6" scale unlike the recent superheroes movies figures. They just look so out of place with the rest of the 6" scale figures.

The BIG Match

Man Utd Vs Liverpool (Old Trafford)

Boy am I excited. I think we are able to sneak a win on this one.
Torres just can't stop scoring.
Gerrald is on form.
Mascherano will be solid as ever.
Reina another clean sheet.
Keeping my fingers cross.

25th anniversary GI Joe action figures

Just love the artwork on the cards of the 25th anniversary GI Joe action figures.
Don't they just remind you of the good old days!
I usually take my toys out of their packaging. However these figures will remain in their packaging so that I can display the artwork in their full glory.
Anyone knows any method to display carded figures on a wall?
I currently only have 3 figures at hand but I will be getting a few more as they are being shipped over from the US....

My Favourite, Crimson Guard , Cobra elite troopers
Storm Shadow

Snake Eyes..who could forget
